Refund & Exchange Policy — Mahima Tuli
At Mahima Tuli, every piece is crafted by hand with great care, time and intention.
Because of this, our jewellery is created in small quantities or made specifically for each client.
I deeply appreciate every customer who chooses to support my work and my atelier.
For this reason, I want to be transparent about how returns and exchanges work.
1. Change of Mind
Because each piece is handmade and produced in very limited quantities, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, personal preference, or ordering the wrong size.
Thank you for understanding that handmade jewellery requires time, materials and artisan effort that cannot be reversed once production begins.
2. Custom, Bespoke & Made-to-Order Pieces
Custom designs, bespoke pieces, engraved items and made-to-order jewels are final sale.
These cannot be cancelled or returned once work has started.
Each of these pieces is created uniquely for you, and we honour that commitment fully.
3. If There Is a Problem
If you believe your piece has a manufacturing issue, please contact us within 48 hours at
info@mahimatuli.com with:
- Your order number
- Photos or videos of the concern
- A short description of the issue
We will carefully review your piece in our atelier.
If a genuine manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will repair or replace your piece in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
4. A Note on Handmade Work
Because every jewel is shaped and finished by hand, small variations in texture, finish or gemstone appearance are natural and part of the character of artisanal jewellery.
These are not considered faults.
5. Shipping for Approved Repairs
If a repair or replacement is approved, we will cover the return shipping for Australian orders. International clients are responsible for return shipping and insurance.
6. Cancellations
Made-to-order or ready-to-wear pieces may be cancelled within 60 minutes of placing your order.
After this time, the piece enters production and becomes a final sale.
Bespoke orders cannot be cancelled at any stage due to their personalised nature.
